In 2008, Churches Together in Keynsham and Saltford are organising a wide ranging and exciting programme for the whole community -
'More to Life 08'.

Recognising that God plays in every scene of life, 'More to Life 08' is seeking to discover spiritual signposts amidst the passions of life which engage people's hearts today.

Each month of the year will be devoted to a specific theme as detailed in the menu above.

A report on the event...

Everywhere that Rob went (16 locations in one week) he was awesome. Do see his website to read his final report on that great journey.

The following report appeared in the Wellsway School Ammonite newsletter:

Following the success of Benedict Allen's visit, Siberian Adventurer Rob Lilwall met students from Year 7 to Sixth Form and took two highly motivational assemblies for two groups with examinations in the offing. Year 9 and Year 11 heard the message that 'Anything is possible' if you plan for your challenge and you are determined.

Sixth Form students met with Rob and also enjoyed hearing of his journey from Siberia to London via Australia. Rob was thoroughly engaging and a joy for students and staff alike. Once again our sincere thanks to John Samways for putting us in contact with Rob.

This report came from St Johns primary school:

We enjoyed a superb day recently when Mr Rob Lilwall visited our school to talk to the children about his three year bicycle expedition around the world. The children were amazed at the conditions that he had to endure and asked Mr Lilwall some really interesting questions, including about the teddy bear that was tied to his bicycle and accompanied him throughout his journey! We are looking forward to hosting many more exciting visitors this year as the school takes part in the church ‘More to Life’ project. The ‘More to Life’ project has attracted some famous names to Keynsham, including the explorer Benedict Allen who visited the town early in the New Year. I am sure that the visitors will inspire our children to set themselves challenging goals and to dream new dreams.

Rob Lilwall has arrived home recently having cycled around the world, via Australia and Siberia, raising funds for Street Children.
