In 2008, Churches Together in Keynsham and Saltford are organising a wide ranging and exciting programme for the whole community -
'More to Life 08'.

Recognising that God plays in every scene of life, 'More to Life 08' is seeking to discover spiritual signposts amidst the passions of life which engage people's hearts today.

Each month of the year will be devoted to a specific theme as detailed in the menu above.

How:

Leaving Keynsham by mini bus at 12.30 pm for entry to Royal Portbury Docks at 2.00 pm. Arriving back approx. 6.00 pm

What:

A guided tour around highlights of the 2,600 acre site. Royal Portbury and Avonmouth Docks is now recognised as being one of the most productive and technically advanced in Europe. This will be a fascinating insight to one of the unknown wonders of Bristol with an emphasis on how it handles the diverse types of cargo in an environmentally efficient way.

Who:

Due to strict Health and Safety requirements at the docks this is for adults only.

Money:

Tickets are £2.50 including travel, entry and guided tour.

Preview evening:

We might have a group briefing for the 'tourists' from Keynsham one evening prior to the visit when we would show the port video and give some detailed preliminary information so that people know what to look for on the tour; there are a lot of environmental issues.
